How to change a WordPress font using custom.css

  1. Head to your WordPress admin console.
  2. Click Appearance. Editor. Select the Stylesheet (custom.css) file on the right hand menu (usually you will need to scroll down).
  3. Search (ctrl+f) for: font-family
  4. Change the font from the existing to your desired font. Try Helvetica.
  5. Click on update file.
  6. Refresh (F5) your webpage.

It goes without saying that you should backup custom.css before making any edits.
